Top 2025 innovation magazine named

Feedspot has named Innovators Magazine the number one innovation magazine for 2025: ‘the best innovation magazine selected from ‘thousands of magazines on the web ranked by relevancy, authority, social media followers & freshness’.

This is great news at the start of this our 10th anniversary year.

We published our first story in 2015 with the ambition of showcasing innovators and solutions advancing the UN Sustainable Development Goals, which launched the same year.

Since that first post, we have been fortunate to experience many memorable moments, including: signing an MoU as an official media partners for COP23; hosting a St Andrews day reception in the European Parliament in Brussels, as part of the European Innovation Summit programme; bringing Climathon to Glasgow for the first time; creating an ‘Impact Comms programme’ to give a platform to under 25s; leading the world’s first awards event, Global Game Changers, that recognised the work of innovators advancing the UN Global Goals; and – in our role as invested actors, contributing to the UNFCCC-led initiative, Resilience Frontiers.

On her time spent with the Impact Comms programme, Carlotta de Toni said: “To this day, the best professional experience! Susan Robertson and Iain Robertson you are wonderful human beings applying care and empathy to all you do and everyone you meet. It has been brief, yet incredibly exciting and enriching. I am honoured that I could contribute to the journey of Innovators Magazine and OnePoint5Media – Ad maiora semper!”

Our amazing community of contributors, active in fields including creativity, frontier technologies, global food systems, biotechnology, and social justice, have been sharing inspiring stories for nearly a decade, in the process creating a multimedia resource innovators use to connect with ideas, solutions and potential partners.

In 2020 the magazine’s editor-at-large, Marc Buckley, a global food reformist and member of the World Economic Forum Expert Network, launched his monthly podcast, Inside Ideas. Since then Marc has spoken with Nobel prize winners, like the current interim leader of Bangladesh, Muhammad Yunus; legendary explorers; UN leaders; world famous systems theorists; moral philosophers – and more, about how we shift people and planet onto the right side of history.

Marc’s fifth season dropped in 2024 – and you can catch up with all these episodes on YouTube.

“It has been a wonderful journey and I’m thankful to Susan and Iain for taking me in and allowing me to dream together with them,” Marc said.

World Future Forum Edition

In November 2024, the first-ever World Future Forum held by Allied4Future (A4F) took place in Lisbon. We produced a special event edition, in partnership with A4F.

In this edition, we step inside the Unicorn Factory in Lisbon, speak to the city’s Mayor, and former European Commissioner of Innovation, Carlos Moedas; as well as Maria da Graça Carvalho, Portugal’s Minister for Environment and Energy; Shiva Dustdar, Head of the EIB Institute, Marceline du Prie, Delft University of Technology; and A4F’s Roland Strauss, about the key issues shaping our future: climate, AI, quantum technology, geoengineering and space.

EU Climate Pact Ambassador, IIija Vuchkov, who attended the Forum, said:  “At a high-level meeting with the Parliaments of the EU candidate countries, I had the distinct privilege of presenting Innovators Magazine during a productive working meeting with Afrim Gashi, President of the Assembly Parliament of North Macedonia.”
