The 97th Academy Awards will feature seven Indian films among the 323 eligible for Best Picture. Standout contenders include Suriya’s Kanguva, Aadujeevitham, and Putul. Other entries are Santosh, Swatantrya Veer Savarkar, All We Imagine as Light, and Girls Will Be Girls. The Oscar nominations will be announced on January 17, 2025, with the award ceremony on March 2, 2025.
