Mango Row: Maharashtra govt agency alleges US inspectors skipped standard procedures

Indian authorities are disputing the rejection of 15 mango consignments by the US, citing procedural lapses by American inspectors who allegedly bypassed protocol by directly reporting issues instead of notifying the irradiation facility in Mumbai. Despite the disruption caused by data recording errors, mango irradiation and exports to the US have normalized, with significant volumes shipped after May 10.
