HUL incorporates new subsidiary Kwality Wall’s for ice cream biz
HUL has created a new subsidiary, Kwality Wall's (India) Ltd, for the demerger of its ice cream business. This decision follows a recommendation by an Independent Committee. HUL shareholders will receive shares in the new entity proportionate to their current holdings. The ice cream business will operate as an independent listed entity, separate from HUL's other operations.
