Govt to release monthly urban, rural unemployment data from April
Starting April, the government will release monthly unemployment figures for urban and rural areas. The ministry is enhancing data for district-level estimates and collaborating with states to influence policy. Upcoming releases include the Time Use Survey 2024. The use of AI tools for data quality improvement was also suggested by Amitabh Kant.
