Aim to be data hub of the world: Piyush Goyal
Piyush Goyal, Commerce Minister, stated India should aim to be the largest data centre destination due to an interconnected grid, reliable green power, data security and trained workforce. He highlighted India's growth in renewable energy and noted that while incentives help initially, industries must ultimately be self-sustainable. He mentioned India's successful LED bulb distribution programme as an example.
