Police arrest New India Cooperative Bank’s GM over Rs 122 cr missing from branches
Mumbai Police arrested Hitesh Mehta, the former GM and accounts head of New India Cooperative Bank, for allegedly embezzling Rs 122 crore. The arrest followed an RBI inspection that revealed missing funds from the bank's Prabhadevi and Goregaon branches.
